About the Organizing Partners

Ghana Internet Safety Foundation (GISF)

The Ghana Internet Safety Foundation is the leading nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing online safety and digital wellbeing in Ghana. GISF focuses on protecting children, families, and vulnerable groups through digital literacy education, community engagement, research, and policy advocacy. The Foundation plays a national role in combating CSAM, sextortion, cyberbullying, misinformation, and emerging online harms—working closely with schools, communities, law enforcement, and global partners to build a safer digital Ghana.

Praesidio Safeguarding

Praesidio Safeguarding is an international child protection and safeguarding consultancy that supports organizations, governments, and NGOs to strengthen their safeguarding systems. By providing expert training, safeguarding audits, advisory services, and technical support, Praesidio helps institutions create safer environments for children both online and offline. Their partnership in Ghana brings global safeguarding standards, practical tools, and specialist knowledge to enhance national child protection efforts.

Cybersecurity Authority Ghana (CSA)

The Cybersecurity Authority is the Government of Ghana’s primary regulatory body for cybersecurity. CSA leads the development and enforcement of national cybersecurity policies, coordinates cyber incident response, and supports law enforcement in investigating cybercrimes. As the national lead for Child Online Protection (COP), CSA operates the 292-reporting hotline and spearheads public awareness campaigns to strengthen digital safety across the country. The Authority is committed to ensuring a secure, resilient, and trusted digital ecosystem for all.
