Project Guardian 2026 brings together experts from Ghana, Nigeria and Côte d’Ivoire to examine how financial sextortion networks recruit, operate and profit from exploitation. Through intelligence sharing and practical discussions, we aim to identify opportunities to disrupt criminal operations and prevent further harm.
Prevention, Desistance and Behavioural Change.
Effective disruption goes beyond arrests. The summit explores innovative approaches to preventing offender recruitment, encouraging desistance and reducing reoffending. Discussions will examine how strategic messaging, AI-powered chatbot interventions and rehabilitation pathways can complement law enforcement responses.
Three Countries. One Coordinated Response.
Moving beyond conversations, Project Guardian 2026 will unite law enforcement, technology platforms, financial institutions, telecommunications providers and civil society to develop practical interventions. The summit will advance a regional campaign and a 90-day action framework to strengthen cooperation and deliver measurable progress against financial sextortion.
